There are people who come along in your life that undoubtedly make incredible, positive impact.
Anna and Christina began their separate photography journeys while in high school. They had met a few times via a mutual best friend and after graduation, ended up working at a staffing agency where they helped people in the local community find jobs.
During this time, Anna and Christina took many trips and had so many impromptu photo sessions! Their love of photography and music brought them together for good memories, laughs and fun (that would later lead to huge roles in each other’s weddings and big life events)!
The company where they both worked went through several changes over time — the elimination of Anna’s position in 2010 kickstarted her AMAZING photography career and a few years later, Christina decided to follow Anna’s footsteps in taking the leap of faith to pursue photography as a full-time career in 2016.
The two ladies were incredibly blessed when a fellow photographer, Dustin Cole, invited them to join in on Ball Street Studios in Downtown Perry. For two years, they shared the space!
In 2023, Christina and Anna had the opportunity to take over the space and start a new adventure together as the
Babes of Ball Street!
FUN FACTS!
These babes are musical! Both play piano and sing, and Anna plays drums and Christina plays guitar! Their road trips consisted of lots of random singing car videos before tiktok and instagram were a thing!
Anna’s first pet photography session was of Christina and her fur babe, Lexi!
Christina did Anna’s hair and makeup on her wedding day and was a bridesmaid!
Anna was the photographer for Christina’s wedding and Anna was 36 weeks pregnant! (Christina had a small ceremony without a wedding party.)
Christina took Anna’s maternity pictures when Anna was 40 weeks pregnant with #3 because Anna decided last minute she really did need them (#noregrets). She also took other maternity photos of Anna along her pregnancy journeys!
Christina was present and documented Anna’s last birth.
They like to help each other second shoot weddings and know how to get down on the dance floor (Christina is also a former competitive dancer and zumba instructor!)
